Body Stress Release
Tracy qualified as a Body Stress Release practitioner in 1994 and has been working at Ingledale since 2007. Tracy is Chair of the Body Stress Release Association (UK) and also teaches part-time at the Body Stress Release Academy Europe. Tracy is passionate about spreading awareness of Body Stress Release through the experiences of her clients and students and is Chair of the BSRA(UK) and a member of the BCMA.
Body Stress Release (BSR) is a complementary health technique that offers a gentle and effective way to help your body release stored tension from the muscles (i.e. ‘body stress’). Tension in your muscles and other structures can put pressure on your nerves which disturbs your body’s communication system and reduces the efficiency of your body’s natural self-healing abilities.
Body Stress Release works with your body’s natural desire to be stress-free. While you are lying down, fully clothed, Tracy will test your body for stored tension. Then, by applying a gentle and precise pressure to the affected areas, your body is encouraged to release the stored tension. This tension may be the cause of a variety of symptoms including back and neck pain, sciatica, cramps, headaches, anxiety and constipation amongst many others. Clients are often amazed that such a gentle technique can be so effective in improving their symptoms and their sense of well-being.
